Currently, your contributions help support the costs of the events we organize, like Diálogos por Oaxaca, an annual symposium held in Mitla, Oaxaca. It also helps keep our small non-profit running and growing (e.g., website costs and conference registration and membership fees) and reduces travel costs for graduate students, early career scholars, independent researchers, local Oaxacan activists, and Indigenous Oaxacans to attend and participate in our events. As we grow, we hope to expand our team and our efforts to other regions in Mexico to dismantle the present inequities in social science research and knowledge production, increasing both its accessibility and dissemination.
